Turning Stone
I’m at Turning Stone (got here around 2 PM today).
So far the only 2+2ers that I’ve met are Exitonly4 and gobboboy. ActionJeff, AaronBeen and PeglegMcgee will be here around 2-3 AM. I hear rumors that Jurollo might be showing up, but I’m not sure if that’s confirmed. Premier (is he even a 2+2er? I only know him from Stars) told me that he’s coming, but I’m not sure when.
I played a few hours of 1-2 NL. I won a decent-sized pot with AA on a A83 flop. I won another pretty big pot when I played a multiway pot (in position) with 97cc (ty bax) and turned a flush. The only sizeable pot that I lost was with KQ when the flop came KQT and I got my money in bad against J9. I would write up the hands, but there wasn’t anything that interesting about any of them. Basically, I hit some flops, bet and got paid by idiots calling me with nothing. There were a few interesting folds that I made where my hand was good, but I think they were standard (8T on a 89T(f) 7(t) 2(r) non-flushed board with two large all-ins in front of me, turned out top and middle were good). I ended my session up a buyin and change to go have dinner with gobboboy, then I came back to the room.
I didn’t bring my digital camera down to the poker room, so I don’t have any pictures yet. I will be sure to take a lot in the next few days though, so they will be appearing in the near future. I’m considering going down there briefly, but I need to be back here at 9 PM to watch Lost (highly recommended).
Either way, I’ll definitely have pics up tomorrow.
EDIT: I’m not going to go down to the poker room until after Lost… so I won’t have any pics until late tonight or tomorrow. Therefore, I took a picture of myself a few minutes ago so in case you’re coming here, you know who to look for so you can introduce yourself.
