Event #2 1500 NL
Well, the first open event of the WSOP held its final table Thursday at 2 PM PST and, already, someone that I know made a final table: Brent Roberts, also known as Astrolux85 on PokerStars.
He came in as the 9th stack, but he finished in 5th for $150K, which is a great score. He and his friend skeemer1 are both sleepers to look out for in upcoming prelim events.
Also, my friend Rizen, aka Eric Lynch, is the chip leader going into the final table of the Event #3 1500 PL. It starts Friday afternoon at 2 PM PST, so let’s hope he can take it down.
On a sidenote, I sold the W$ that Brent and Eric used to buyin to these events, so I’m 2/2 with final tables. I hope to keep this streak alive in the upcoming events.
