I didn’t have a chance to post these until now… I was on a biking trip in the Canadian Rockies (Banff) with my family. I’m in the Salt Lake City airport now — we had to stop here on our flight back from Calgary.

Anyway, I saw “Talladega Nights” with Justin and Nick (ahh_snap) on the evening of the 6th, then we all ended up sleeping back at the Bellagio. Justin left pretty soon after we got up (middle of the afternoon), then Nick and I took a limo over to his house in Henderson. He stayed there with Green Plastic, Empire2000, Genius28, BeL0WaB0Ve and a few other people that I can’t remember. I think Johnster too, but I’m not sure.

After taking a bunch of their stuff (in the limo, lol) to FedEx to ship home, we went to Shintaro at the Bellagio.

The infamous Vegas “free drink” … Nick put in $100, got out $30-something and a “free drink” at the bar. He went busto soon after.

I’ll be back with a vacation blog in the next few days.

I’ve been on vacation with my family for the last week or so which is why I haven’t been updating my blog.

I have a few more Vegas pictures and some vacation pictures to put up in the next day or so, so stay tuned for that.

Smokey and Ozzy were considering a wrestling match (they’re both former wrestlers and they both think they can beat the other) so they were debating how to set it up on the floor. It never happened though, I think Ozzy backed down after a bit.

Monday is my last full day in Vegas. On the one hand I’m a little sad to leave because it’s been a ton of fun, but I’m also ready to get home and move on to my law school experience at Emory Law in Atlanta. I still have one day though.

Like I said in my last entry, I got a bunch of pictures at the WSOP. It’s hard to get good pictures on the rail, so bear with me

Ozzy, Smokey and I went to Bushman’s house for a bit last night. First we played some ping pong and I pretty much destroyed ackbleh, Smokey, ZeeJustin and Ozzy. I don’t think anyone got above about 13 versus my 21 in the 8 games that I won against them and I think I beat ackbleh about 21-4. They are all much better than me at poker, so I guess everyone has their talent. We then went inside to play some hearts, a game that I’d never played before. I managed to “shoot the moon” by accident. I basically just played random cards and it worked out. That allowed me to be in a good spot in the game, but I made a bunch of huge donk plays due to having no idea what I was doing and Justin managed to win the game. Apparently Justin and I got lucky during the course of the game, but I don’t know how since I don’t really understand some of the strategies in the game. Smokey and ackbleh would kill me in the long run.

Bushman and crew came back from a club at the Venetian a tad drunk. I got a bunch of funny pictures:

It really is water. Ozzy wouldn’t drink beer or other alcohol since it’s obviously unsafe and very illegal to do so at his age.

This is the only time of day you’ll see the Bellagio lobby this empty. It’s packed all day.

We went to see how gandi9 was doing in the 100/200 NL game, but Smokey and I wanted to sleep, so we left Ozzy down there to watch the game for a bit. I woke up this morning with Ozzy in ZeeJustin’s bed (ZJ stayed at Bushman’s for the night) and gandi9 in Ozzy’s bed. We ordered room service and they both played various high limit online NL games for a bit.

gandi9′s Bellagio chips on the room service cart. I think it’s $56,580. There is one cranberry $25K chip, 6 $5K chips, 1 $1K chip, 1 $500 chip, 3 $25 chips and a $5 chip. It doesn’t look that impressive for a stack worth over 55,000 dollars.

I actually made the bonehead move of the day when I rolled the room service cart out into the hall and forgot to take the chips off the cart. Luckily they were outside the room for less than 5 minutes and nothing happened to them, but it would have gotten ugly if they disappeared. I don’t even want to think about it.

I just got back from the Rio and I took a bunch of pictures, but I need to head out now. I will try to post them later tonight or maybe I’ll just do it tomorrow.
