NETeller
Wow.
US member update
Effective Immediately
Due to recent US legislative changes and events, effective immediately, US members are no longer able to transfer funds to or from any online gambling sites.
All US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account to safely transfer funds to and from non-gambling merchants and are not required to close their account or withdraw their funds.

sick shoes
Picked these up today while I was killing time at a mall waiting for my Nintendo Wii guy to arrive. I used craigslist to find a seller because it seems impossible to find Wiis in stores. I’ll have some pictures of my improved entertainment center soon, but for now, the shoes (to be honest they aren’t that amazing and I think lots of people will actually dislike them — I just wanted an excuse to use the fancy camera that I bought for the PCA):
I have no idea what I was doing at this table
I didn’t post this to the db pic page, but there was one dinner at the PCA that was pretty sick. I definitely stood out as the donk. But somehow I ended up at the same dinner table as these guys:
From left to right: ActionJeff, brainwash, hazards21, MrSmokey1, Ozzy 87, thorladen, ZeeJustin, Empire2000.
Pretty amazing dinner table. It’s too bad I didn’t eat anything because I’d just eaten around 2-3 hours before.
Although I’m not going to write a big blog about the PCA, I had a great time again this year and I am honestly already excited to go next year.
I can’t figure this out…
There’s this weird bug that I noticed when putting up pictures this past week at Atlantis. Sometimes a different picture will display in different browsers despite the exact same address being in the URL.
Here’s what it looks like — the correct picture, AFAIK, is the one of Annette. I have no idea why the one of Ozzy and Martine23 is showing up in Firefox. Also, IE is always right — only Firefox is sometimes wrong.
Anyone have any ideas? It isn’t my browser cache — I cleared it just before I took the screenshot and I did a hard refresh after that.

Nike+
I just got a Nike+ sensor. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a small pedometer that goes into your shoe and syncs with an iPod nano to record your runs.
I am going to set monthly running goals and post them on here. My first goal is very modest for a few reasons:
1. I haven’t ran much in over four years.
2. I am already over 1/3rd of the way through the month with 0 miles (because I just got home from the PCA).
3. I am going to be really busy with BLUFF and the db because we’re going to have some intense development going on for a bit as we redo the db.
So my first month’s goal is 15 miles in 19 days. That means I’ll pretty much do 10 short runs every other day. Baby steps.
I also committed $500 to charity if I don’t make it. In theory, the graph below should update as the month goes on. I did a .5 mile test run earlier tonight.
Hah!
I always knew they did this, but I enjoyed catching a pic of it. This was from today’s PCA final table. Congrats to Ryan (1st), Ike (2nd), Jon (3rd) and Frank (6th)!
I will have big photo gallery up on the db pic site sometime Thursday. For now, I leave you with this:
