i guess this is a brag post
I posted something way back when saying that I would post a picture of my room setup. Well, here it is…

Some of the highlights… Nintendo Wii, PlayStation3, Tivo HD Series 3, Dual Tuner Tivo Series 2, Random DVD player/recorder, 50″ Sony Grand Wega LCD, Aeron chair (not the most balla one unfortunately, I bought this one back in college), custom comp, dual 20″ LCDs, Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard and a few other random things…
The Wii is the best thing in the room though. So awesome.
Intellectual Whores: A good read
See: http://www.intellectualwhores.com/masterladder.html.
A lot of the stuff he says is actually pretty funny and true. I don’t agree with all of it, but the Ladder Theory as a whole is a good way to represent the male-female relationship model and it’s definitely a good read.
Highly recommended if you want to kill 15 minutes.
Knee update
I posted a few entries back about how my knee wasn’t feeling so great. Well, it’s been over a week since my last run. I decided against running this week because my knee was REALLY hurting. It was to the point where it hurt regardless of what I was doing. And it hurt a lot whenever I was doing things like going down steps or turning corners.
Anyway, I bought some ibuprofen (first time I’ve ever bought any pain med) and a knee support thing to help out. I wore the knee thing 24/7 (except showers) for a few days. It was definitely a big help.
At this point, the pain is gone. A few days ago it started feeling better and now I don’t feel anything when I walk around, including up and down stairs. I’ve stopped wearing the knee support and I haven’t taken any ibuprofen in a few days. I’m going to do a test run of some kind sometime this week. Probably something very very short, like a quarter of a mile. Regardless of whether it hurts, I’ll stop and see how it feels the next day. If the results are good, I’ll do a half mile run a day or two later, etc. If everything feels good, I’ll get back to my routine of 1.5-2 mile runs when I go to the gym. But I want to take this recovery slow because that 5 day period with a badly hurting knee SUCKED and I don’t want to go through it again if I don’t have to.
A reflection on my performance at Aussie Millions
Apparently, I went to Australia. I ran up a decent stack and managed to donk it off.

Of course, I didn’t go. I have no idea why I was playing.
Go die in a ditch NETELLER, seriously.
I tried to login just now.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
Know what the good news is? I have, exactly, $0.00 in NETELLER right now. I couldn’t care less about my account being closed.
I mean, I know why it was closed. See: http://content.neteller.com/content/en/member_businessupdate.htm.
Why can’t I perform Peer-to-Peer transfers anymore?
In order to ensure that US members do not use NETELLER with the intent to gamble online, NETELLER is no longer offering its Peer-to-Peer service in the US.
Why isn’t my account certified anymore?
US member accounts have been temporarily de-certified to revoke Peer-to-Peer capabilities. These accounts should be automatically re-certified in the next 10 business days, but Peer-to-Peer transfers will no longer be available to US members.
Why has my NETELLER account been closed?
If you recently performed a Peer-to-Peer transfer, your account may have been temporarily closed. Your account should be automatically re-opened within 5 business days, but you will no longer be able to perform Peer-to-Peer transfers.
Yea, I transferred out 6 digits or so, so I guess they probably would close it. NETELLER is so goddamn dumb they probably didn’t even see the peer-to-peer thing coming. First they shut down EFTs, then they shut down the NETELLER card, then they finally close off P2P transfers. At this point, I’m just happy to having my money out less a few thousand dollars. What a fucking mess for everyone involved. I just wonder how long it’s going to take for NETELLER to send out checks.
They’re really handling it like a bunch of 8 year olds. I’d love to see them actually put up a candid description of what’s happening, what the exact roadblocks are and what sort of timeline people can expect. They haven’t done anything close to that.
