Bankers having trouble figuring out the UIGEA

I know this is a few weeks old, but I didn’t see it until today. I’m sure some blog readers haven’t seen it either.

Apparently there was a House hearing on Wed April 2nd about the enforcement of the UIGEA.

Feds say Internet gambling law ambiguous

I think it’s kind of predictable that this stuff would happen. It’s too hard to regulate the internet with good laws, let alone vague, contradictory and impossible-to-enforce laws that are meant to appease a tiny fraction of the US population that actively opposes online gaming.
