Seattle and Vancouver
I’m currently in the middle of a week-long trip to Seattle and Vancouver. The trip has a business purpose behind it, but it’s been a ton of fun. A business partner of mine lives in Seattle and he took us around to a bunch of really fun things. From a bunch of amazing food to K1 indoor racing (not really my thing) to the REI indoor rock wall to a fun arcade, it was a pretty much non-stop few days of fun. I had a great time and it was a really needed release from work-life.
We’ve been really busy lately and launching sites can really take a lot of energy out of your sails. I also was amazed by the beauty of Seattle. Granted it’s pretty cloudy/dreary there most of the time, but the lakes and houses are really incredible. And there are beautiful mountain ranges that you can see from Seattle on both sides of the city. Amazing stuff for a guy from Pennsylvania, we don’t have anything like that.
One other cool thing that we did in Seattle was watch the WEC fights at a bar called “Sport” in downtown Seattle. They actually had TVs at each booth, along with a ton of big screen TVs all over the place. We watched the whole broadcast from the start and the two title matches didn’t disappoint. I was glad to see Torres and Faber defend their titles — I like both of their styles. I’m wondering where Faber goes from here. He’s just such a dominant featherweight in MMA, I don’t think there’s anyone in the world who can beat him right now.
Anyway, moving on, now I’m in Vancover for a few days. It’s raining right now, but this seems like a great city too. Good luck to everyone at the WSOP right now!

Faber could always move up 10lbs and become a UFC lightweight. I don’t think he would have a shot against Penn, but he is as good as anyone else in the lightweight division.
