Holy crap PokerStars
This is incredible…
I guess that PokerStars’ strategy of shoving as many people as possible into a WSOP Main Event seat is paying off for them so far this year. They’re absoluting dominating the final 26 people, although I’m pretty sure the Peter Eastgate guy is actually Ladbrokes.
Nonetheless, good luck to PokerStars in their quest to have the Main Event champ on their side again.
I’d personally be thrilled to see Tiffany Michelle make the FT and possibly win, that would be terrific for poker.

I think only like three or four of these guys are Poker Stars qualifiers. The rest were signed up by them to wear PS patches in the hallways of the Rio when they went deep

Five of the final nine players are Pokerstars sponsored, two are Full Tilt and one is independent. Peter Eastgate is playing for Ladbrokes, the PS logo must be a typo.

Yeah, it is crazy to see the amount of PokerStars players at this year’s WSOP. In fact, at the final table, PokerStars has 6 of the final “November Nine” players. That is impressive but unbelievable advertising exposure for the brand. I wrote about it at my blog.

Tiffany Michelle has just signed a sponsorship deal with UltimateBet. I don’t think that is good for poker
