No real motive except that I like to write about stuff I'm interested in.

I actually didn't intentionally remove comments, it's just the blog template doesn't have comments on the page.php template... if you're familiar with WordPress, you'll know what I'm talking about. I will add it in one of these days.

Hi Nat, I like your blog a lot but I haven't checked it for some time.

I have to wonder what the motive is for making a Poker SEO section of your site.

Why would you create such a hot button topic without any way to comment on it or discuss it? I have some theories, especially considering you're now ranking 22nd for "poker seo".

But I think it would be a lot more interesting and beneficial for your readers, both in the poker and SEO community, if you opened the topics up to discussion and got some real conversation going.

Hopefully this will change soon and we can start making comments on your observations.

I don't know much about SEO, but I found that to be interesting reading nonetheless. Since you happened to use my most recent 2+2 Magazine article as an example, I guess I'll say that at least in my case the fact that 2+2 only retains the rights to my work for three months is important. I wouldn't have a problem with selling it to them permanently, but I would want more than what they currently pay per article. I'm sure at least some other authors feel the same way. That means that this policy is helping them purchase better content than they otherwise could on the same budget.

Enjoyed the new section Nat, even better than Steve Badger's equivalents!

Did notice that many of the blogs that CChat etc were buying links on lost a bunch of PR last time round, guess this was for linking out to a new 'bad neighbourhood'.

Interested to hear your thoughts on how Poker Listings get away with their blatant link-buying??

Cheers, Mark
