I have no idea what kind of stone it is. I don't think marble, but maybe. I figured it was some sort of colored slate, but who knows. I never bothered to ask because I didn't care.

Also, for whatever reason, these wall units are how A/C tends to work in Costa Rica. Very very rare to have central HVAC units like in the US. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen it in a residential unit in Costa Rica. I installed two of these 12,000 (I think) BTU wall units. One in the main room, one in the bedroom. The 2nd bedroom/TV room should get enough overflow to stay cool when needed.

I've never seen anything that looked like that before. What kind of wall is that? Marble? What room is that in? How many did you have to install to cool your whole place? I'm surprised that the places wouldn't come with central air.

Wow, that's the nicest looking room AC I've ever seen!

That's too funny about the Picasa download page. I'm sure it's because they just recently released the v3 Beta but still. Sure makes them look silly.

BTW, if you never used v2 you won't appreciate AS MUCH the very kewl features/upgrades in v3. I love Picasa and use the HTML codes they provide in my blog all the time. They did mess with the code for v3 though and I find myself having to edit it a bit now. Still, very handy stuff.
