Important domain auction underway

Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for updates to my blog.

I recently received an email with the subject:

“Your maximum bid for fartnews.com has been exceeded”

My initial reaction: DAMN.

I’ve resolved that I’m going to fight for this one until the end. It’s too valuable and the subject is too important.

nat, i’m curious how hard it was to purchase domains in the early to mid 90′s when the internet first came out? i’m curious if some person went out and bought domains such as espn.com, walmart.com, nike.com, etc and then made those large corporations buy the domains from them for a ton of money?

Why not use an alternat keyword instead?

windbreakernews.com
flatusnews.com
indigestionnews.com

The above domains are all available, and would allow you to use your budget for site development and branding.
