Now, regarding the wearing of contacts....I got them when I was 17 years old, when they were very new on the market, and have been wearing them for almost 40 years now. But as the years went on, I noticed that my eyes were always bloodshot and Visine could no longer clear it. Now I've decided to just wear my eyeglasses. So I definitely think you're smart to have the surgery and get rid of the contacts. Good luck. Nat –
