I don't smoke -- never even taken a single puff of a cigarette.

Not sure where I can do the step stuff around here but I'll see if I can find a place.

I ran competitively for a long time and I know how you feel. Throwing up believe it or not is fairly common among people who are pushing themselves hard to run.

As far as sinus problems, do you smoke? That can cause this when you run.

A half marathon is a good run. I did 10k in around 29min and a half marathon was still a big chore for me to finish. I suggest step building to help with endurance. Go to the closest stadium and run the steps till you cant walk for 4 days, then rest for 2, and repeat. In a few weeks you will see a big difference in your running endurace on flat streches

good luck

I'm not sure what I have, but for about the past 2 years I have what seems to be chronic phleghm in my throat. It seems like I always need to clear my throat and usually do spit out a thick mucus. It's really annoying because it seems like whenever I eat or drink it aggravates the phlegm even more to the point where I sometimes have to throw up. The phleghm build up gets so thick in my throat that it practically gags me. Very frustrating. Mom thinks it might be sinuses. It's getting progressively worse very slowly so I think I'm gonna check out the doctor soon.

I am a huge believer in natural cures, and in not jumping to meds or surgery too quickly.
However I must say that I have heard that are new options, post-ct scan (it used to be that sinus surgery was the only option. but now there are less invasive choices like balloon sinuplasty).
That’s my two cents. Take care and good luck.
