Women’s BBall Fail

I have tried to submit things to failblog.org multiple times without success. I’m just going to post them on my own blog from this point forward. I am watching the Mich St-Texas Tech game on ESPN right now. Pretty boring game because I don’t care about either team but it’s the best game on right now and both teams are lighting it up so it’s worthwhile. Anyway, I saw this scroll the across the screen and my first thought, obviously, was “FAIL”:

Poor girls…

  • I don’t understand how a college program such as Texas State could possibly get beat by an opposing team this badly. We are talking about college! In college, coaches have the right to go around the country and continuously recruit the top talent from high school players. Whoever is in charge of this Texas State girls basketball program would most obviously get crushed at .02/.05 NL even after reading 10 poker books.

I realize this topic hasn’t been discussed in your post in quite some time. A few buddies and myself were discussing if online poker and retreiving funds from the sites is legal in the US. I figured you of all people would have the answer to this question. Thanks for any input.

  • Playing online poker is not illegal in most states.

I also don’t think it’s illegal to retrieve funds from the sites although I am pretty sure the UIGEA makes it illegal for US banking institutions to be involved in that. I am really not sure about the specifics of the funding stuff but I am pretty sure players won’t be prosecuted. Never really know though…
